Lance Miller appointed to CJA Panel Posted By Attorney Lance Miller on Jan 25, 2011 6:45am PST On Monday, January 24, 2011, Attorney Lance Miller was notified that he was accepted onto the Criminal Justice Act panel with the Federal Public Defender's Office for the Middle District of Tennessee in Nashville. The CJA panel is a pool of attorneys who represent defendants charged with crimes in federal court in Nashville. The process is a rather lengthy one that involves training, serving as "second chair" on other federal cases, and an interview process with the Federal Defender personally. Presently, there are only two other attorneys in Clarksville who are on the CJA panel. We are very pleased with the appointment and look forward to this expansion of our practice.
